Did you really mean “overflowing font”? Even if you meant “fount”, the Freudian slip is appropriate in that once the divine origin of the hebrew and greek texts is dimissed, all we are left with is a change in fonts!

How about…
“…I baptize you in the name of the Monotype Corsiva, and of the Baskerville Old Face, and of the Perpetua”?
Indeed!!!

Jerry,
I’m not sure whether I should laugh or cry. Too funny!
On another note, I have been reading a lot of Ryle lately and have come to the conviction that no man should hold the title of bishop in the Anglican Church unless he promises not to contradict the lead of the old Bishop. (just for starters).

Ryle is a favorite! If you’ve not read his “Christian Leaders of the Last Century” or “Light From Old Times”, I’d say stop what you’re doing…read my comments no further…get a copy of one of the above…and bless your life!
(If you stopped reading my comments, then you totally missed my last two lines…and this one)

“Light from Old Times” is exactly what I’m reading. I will be posting some quotes I gleaned from it very soon. I agree with Jerry that you should stop reading Jerry Wragg and start reading Ryle!

Jerry Ryle? I’ve never heard of him before. Is he new? Where can I get some of his stuff?

That’s all I need is another rumor started about me…
Take a number and wait your turn!

I think the FL Sun is starting to get to Chris and Jer.

Yeah, but from the looks of me you wouldn’t know I’ve been out in it! Now Jerry, on the other hand…

C’mon Chris…I don’t bathe in the sun! I was only at that tanning booth to be a witness in the community.
And what were you doing at the Flat Earth Society conference?
