Listening to this debate on infant baptism reminded me how often paedobaptists appeal to Romans 4:11 to support their position. I have just read “From Circumcision to Baptism” and found it excellent. So much of what Dr Welty sets out corroborates what I have found through my own studies. In particular this has included consideration of the continuity and discontinuity between the Old Testament and the New.
